T.I.Y.C.T.I.

For those of you who have clicked on this button inadvertently this is the name of the youth club set up in the early 60’s and is short for This Is Your Club This Is, derived from a television programme at that time called That Was the Week That Was.

40+ years on  quite a few members still meet, having the odd pub lunch followed by a walk.  The walk is not obligatory but all are welcome.  The object of this page is to advise of the itinerary as and when people come up with suggestions!  Any activities you wish to advertise please contact Ray using either the Contact Us button or phone him on 01202 622146.

CHRISTMAS MEAL 2010

BLUE BOAR, POOLE

On the 18th December 2009  TIYCTI enjoyed a very nice Christmas dinner.  Apparently it was so good we - Jean that is - will be booking again for 17 December  2010!   No excuses for double booking as you have been warned well in advance!

TURKEY & TINSEL WEEKEND IN THE ISLE OF WIGHT

WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND.  Thank you to Howard who organized everything.  The Hotel, the food, the company lived up to all expectations and more.  Weather perhaps a bit damp but even that had its upside with the fantastic waves crashing over the sea wall at Freshwater - a truly amazing sight.

Arthur has looked into possibilities for next year in Spain.  We are looking at maybe Guernsey or Jersey.  Anyone with any suggestions feel free to suggest it at one of our monthly walks.

See you all there at 12 noon.

February saw us back down at The Harvester for another value for money meal - especially with Pat’s free pud vouchers!

March 7th we are going to The Willett Arms.  Due to the fact the Fairies are unable to make it there may be a shortage of  folk so it may be a brain active afternoon in lieue of a walk at someones house for a game of trivial pursuit or something similar.  Just turn up and the day will be played by ear!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ARTHUR and FREDA

Benton was born to Caroline and Bruce on 7th December 2009 weighing in at 8lb 12 oz.  Below is a picture of him asleep the next day.  Apparently Arthur and Freda are recovering and doing well!
