T.I.Y.C.T.I.

For those of you who have clicked on this button inadvertently this is the name of the youth club set up in the early 60’s and is short for This Is Your Club This Is, derived from a television programme at that time called That Was the Week That Was.

40+ years on  quite a few members still meet, having the odd pub lunch followed by a walk.  The walk is not obligatory but all are welcome.  The object of this page is to advise of the itinerary as and when people come up with suggestions!  Any activities you wish to advertise please contact Ray using either the Contact Us button or phone him on 01202 622146.

On the 18th December 2009  TIYCTI enjoyed a very nice Christmas dinner.  Apparently it was so good we - Jean that is - will be booking again for 17 December  2010!   No excuses for double booking as you have been warned well in advance!

This month’s walk (May) will begin at the Angel at Longham.  It will be on Sunday t he 9 May at the usual time of midday.  Weather permitting Howard thought perhaps a trip to the Avon Valley Country Park where there are not only plenty of places to walk but a cafe for an afternoon cup of tea.

FREDA

Freda will be 60 on May 18th.  

Freda is about to join the Tiycti Pensioners; she’ll be 60 on 18th May but will be somewhere in America at the time. Such a milestone cannot go uncelebrated however, so all Tiycti friends are invited to a BBQ at their house on Sunday 13th June, from 6pm. It will be helpful to have some idea of numbers beforehand, so please let them know if you will be going, by email to arthurandfreda@yahoo.com
